As the new academic year begins, October is also a new start for the Bulgarian Christian Student Union groups in different cities of the country.

The student groups in Sofia have started their gatherings and we can't wait to see how God will work through the students in our capital this year. They will be studying 1 and 2 Thessalonians this semester every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday when the student groups are, and on Wednesdays with the graduate students.

The groups in Varna did their opening of the semester in the nature of the Sea Garden. We are thankful to God for them and pray for a blessed school year! They will meet every Monday and Wednesday and study the Names of God.

In Veliko Tarnovo, they opened the new school year with a "Giliard" , a walk and a good time together and will continue their gatherings every Tuesday.

They are all a great blessing to us and we look forward to the things God has in store for them this year. 

Plovdiv also kicked off the semester in the company of former and current BCSU students with delicious food, fun and new acquaintances! They will be studying Encounters with Jesus as students gather every Tuesday and graduate students gather every Monday. 

We are excited to see the fruit of prayers so far and continue to pray for soft hearts among students across the country and also in our international student groups is Sofia and Varna.

On October 18, IFES is announcing a global day of prayer for students and student movements around the world, and BCSU groups from different cities will be holding prayer gatherings to intercede for their brothers and sisters around the world. We would be delighted if you would join us in prayer.
